Hibiki's full name (which he uses openly) is 白石　響 (Shiraishi Hibiki). Shiraishi means white stone. According to Hibiki, his name is actually spelled with the archaic version of the kanji for Hibiki though, 響.

Hibiki majored in management at the Aoyama Gakuin University (gakuin = graduate school) of Cultural and Creative Studies.

Music is in Hibiki's family, and his parents are both professional musicians. He started seriously playing the drums during his student period.

Hibiki also enjoys giving drum classes. He often gives drum lectures on his birthday and outside of band activities, he teaches kids at the Keita Shiraishi Latin Carnival and gives lectures at schools like the Seika Girls High School. He also gives courses at the All Japan Band Association.
